Multi-chart

Put more charts beside Vest’s own: another timeframe, or another market. Click a chart on another market and trade it.

Dock › Charts

Five layouts

The dock’s Charts button opens the layouts: one chart, two side by side, two stacked, three or four. Vest’s own chart stays where it is, and the extra charts fill the rest.

The layouts, from the dock’s Charts button.
Two side by side: NQ 1m and ETH 5m.
Two stacked: NQ 1m over NQ 15m.
Three: NQ, ETH 5m and BTC 15m.
Four: NQ 1m and 15m, ETH and BTC.

Each chart is its own

Every extra chart has its own market and timeframe, from all 88 of Vest’s markets, its own drawings, and your theme. Pick them at its top left; ✕ closes it.

Switch to a chart’s market

Click into an extra chart that shows another market, or press an order key there, and a small bar at its foot asks “Trade ETH here? Switch”. Switch moves the page to that market through Vest’s own router, with no reload: Vest’s chart, its ticket, the book and the Execute card follow, and the extra chart takes the page’s old market.

  • Each chart keeps its timeframe. An extra chart’s drawings belong to its old market and aren’t carried over.
  • The bar goes away on ✕, Escape, after 8 seconds, or when the two markets become the same. After that the chart stays quiet for 2 minutes.
  • No switch while a TP or SL is being dragged, a Vest window is open, or an order is on its way. A note says why.
A click in the ETH chart: “Trade ETH here? Switch”.
After Switch: the page trades ETH, the extra chart took NQ.

Your hotkeys in an extra chart

On the page’s own market (NQ 15m next to NQ 1m) your order keys trade as they do on the main chart. On another market they never trade. Either way TradingView never gets them, so no symbol search pops up.

Where the data comes from

Each market’s data comes from a hidden Vest tab in a folded “Charts” group: Vest’s own page loading its own data. It closes when you close the charts or the tab.

Free, for every Vest trader.
