P&L cards

One page, every option

P&L in the dock opens the card on its own page. Across the top: Summary, Replay or Payout; your accounts or a copy group; the rows, the period and the markets. Under it: theme, style, background, size and the number. GIF, Copy image and Download PNG are one click.

Summary

One account, several added up, or your whole copy group as a list. Rows by account, market, copy group, trade or session, for today, yesterday, this week, this month or any day, after fees. Hide names is on by default.

Styles and backgrounds

Four styles (Vest, Silver, OLED, Neon), dark or light. Or a solid colour, a gradient at any angle, or your own picture or GIF, with dim and blur so the numbers stay readable. A GIF background moves on the card and adds Save video. Your picture stays on your computer, at any size.

Four sizes

4:5 for a feed, 1:1, 16:9 for X, and 9:16 for a story.

Replay

Your session on Vest’s own candles, every entry and exit where it filled: an arrow for an entry, a ring for an exit, each trade’s P&L and the day’s net. Pick the trades and the time it shows.

Style the chart your way: your own chart’s candle colours or a preset, candles, hollow, bars, line, area or Heikin Ashi, any timeframe, and the grid, axes, boxes and lines on or off.

GIF and video

GIF makes a GIF of the card right on the page, shows it, and saves it only when you press Save GIF. Video plays the day in the page first, and you save it only if you like it.

• Replay bars sweeps the day in, each candle growing from its open, then holds the whole day before it loops. Whole chart is the finished chart.
• Speed: Fit (the whole card in about 10 seconds), 10×, 30× or 60×. A GIF stops at 30 seconds, so a long day plays your trades instead.
• 50 frames a second, Full (1080 x 1350) or Half. Made by Better Vest’s own encoder: nothing leaves your computer.

Every second, recorded

While a Vest trade page is open, Better Vest keeps the chart’s price second by second, read from Vest’s own chart, so in the replay each candle forms the way it really traded. No request, no extra feed: under 1 MB for a whole day of one market, kept on your computer for 30 days. Switch it off in Settings › More › P&L card.

After a big close, and payouts

After a close that adds 1% or more to the account, the card pops up in a small panel at the bottom right of Vest’s page: Save, Copy, Edit, Close, or Don’t show again. It never takes your keys.

The Payout card shows the payout you just received and your lifetime total. It reads the Calendar’s own data, executed payouts only.
